A homemade card, a dance to La Vie en Rose just past midnight in front of the bartenders and last dregs of the regulars, by ourselves on a cigarette strewn floor.
No chocolate, no flowers.
Perfect.
And on top of it, we won the pub quiz.

yeah pop quiz winner! when you come to NY i'm taking you to my quiz place. it's impossible. I brought an ivy crew and we lost-- quite pathetically.
Sounds very romantic, like a scene from a movie... Not a cheesy romantic comedy though, sounds more like a cool, slightly gritty indie film, starring Christina Ricci as Lauren, and Paul Rudd as Stephane. ;)

We also didn't do a traditional V-day...though we did buy a reduced-price Whitman's Sampler and shared the top level of it ;-)
We decided that it would be much more fun to go see Pink Martini perform this weekend than blow the money on an overpriced, overcrowded dinner last night.
