mi casa es su casa

Welcome to my humble home.

Here we have my wardrobe.

The "lounge".

And now my photo gallery - all taken by yours truly.

Here is our cat, Lechat. Who is currently living with the parent's-in-law in the south of France. Sometimes I'm jealous of my cat.

Grapes on a vine in a vineyard in California

My aunt, father and cousin (and aunt again) in France

Lechat again, along with a photo of what I think to be the windows of the Rodin museum in Paris.

Lemon's in my uncle's garden in L.A.

A chess board, moments before battle begins.

If you can't get your photos to an art gallery, bring the art gallery to your photos.

Wow! Great photos! There's nothing like B&W photography to capture the moodiness of a moment. I used to have some photos displayed like that (mostly of you) in my old apt., and am hoping to be able to do that again when we move.

yes, the photos are very cool. i was just in an art store today looking at different mats (matts?) thinking, are my photos good enough to be matted and framed? so the way you have done it, strung along on a wire, is a very cool alternative.

p.s. random, immature thought: the lemons look like testicles. ha ha.

Glad you guys like them. I thought the lemons looked more like boobs...

Such a cute apartment you have. I love it.
Can I just say, because, random though it is, I think you'll agree...I just saw a pic of Katie Holmes and I was suddenly struck with dismay. Obviously, I have seen many pics of her, but I had never really actually looked properly until day. How on earth could Tom go from Nicole to her? (via Penelope of course.) She is a girl, a flower in the wind, young and pretty yes, but with no apparent substance. Nicole is a beautiful, strong and intelligent woman, with allure and mystique, yet soft. How could he ever have let her go? Although, he seems to have turned into such a freak that it's probably a good thing.
I'll never understand why men today have this thing about young, flimsy, fragile girls. What ever happened to the sexual appeal of the real woman, like it used to be in the 40s and 50s, and in fact for centuries until now? You can even see it in the perfumes they prefer for their girlfriends. No Chanel, no Miss Dior, no Guerlain, no sophisticated, femininity. It's all about funky and tiny and trendy and flimsy. And I'm not loving it.
Tsk. Bring back the woman.

I am well aware that my previous comment hs nothing to do with anything, many apologies. I just need a space to vent, and this is where I came to do it!

I love your comments kate, and I totally agree with you. Honey - you so need your own blog, you've got so much to say (not that I don't love you saying it here).

chaos? That picture of my closet was taken after I cleaned up.

Hello again. I forgot to tell you that I had a delicious crottin in your honour on Fridqy night. Amo and I found a cute little village-style restaurant in Châtelet. Followed it up with a great pavé au roquefort, salad and gratin dauphinois, bit of red wine. Perfect. Only thing missing was you!

I've got to meet this Kate someday, and she definitely needs to jump on the blog-wagon.

While I agree with Kate in general, let's not forget that the '50's also brought us all those blonde, bland women like Doris Day and all those TV sitcom moms. Not exactly alluring sexual appeal.
