I see Cyber people

Having had problems with Blog Clicker ( a system that tells you how many visitors your website has) for the past month, i have abandoned them for Stat Counter in order to find out just how popular my Blog really is. It's not. But that's besides the point. StatCounter shows me everything, who you are, where you are from, how long you spend reading my blog, and which porn site you were reading before you found it. I love it. I feel like Big Brother. That's right, I see you NYU student who read my site for 15 minutes at 10 PM last Tuesday...hanging out in the library are you? Pretending to do work while reading strangers' blogs, huh? Well I'm glad to provide what I'm sure is much needed procrastination. That being said I'd like to give a big "shout out" to my three readers in Hong Kong.

I need to work on getting my "non-urban" readers up in numbers. New York, Chicago, LA... got it. Now its time to focus on the in between. And fellow residents of Europe (hey, Britons, this means you too), lets kick it up a notch, shall we? Numbers are low people, the States are kicking our cyber butts.

actually, I get a lot of traffic from your new blog and its not all from you. I think some of the hong kong people found me via your site. wow. I am such a nerd.

Yeah, I'm a little scared of you now...do you know what color underwear I have on too, and what I had for dinner last night? Anyway I read your blog every day at least twice and love it! But I guess you already knew that.....

I still can't understand the people who come for 0 seconds. Or those who stay on one post for 3 hours. Did they fall asleep reading it?

Awww, don't take it too hard, Neil. Your writing is not that bad ; ) (for those that don't know Neil's site www.citizenofthemonth.com, he is a fabulous writer and cute and single) Do I get to go on your blogroll now Neil?

True that this is scary. How many other people know what I'm doing at my computer? What info does it give you? Can you locate me precisely right now? Lauren - you know how paranoid I am - you have now cemented my place in a secure institution, this could well be the breaking of me... But I shall continue reading your fantastic blog, it's the first thing I did when I switched on my computer this morning - you probably knew that before I did, right?

I was just trying to figure out what to call you on the blogroll. Your title is too long. Is it better to call you "Life of a Franco-American" or "Franco-American in the UK" or just "Sexy Lauren."

Don't worry, its not some stalker tool. I can't see your exact location or anything. Nor your underwear!

And Neil, Sexy Lauren - for sure.

Being an NYU student myseLF I have to say give them a break; if they are there during the summer they need it. That being said it will show NYU from their rooms as well if they are connected to my nyu.
I don't look that often because I don't care but I think almost fifty percent of my site vistors have their address proxied. This is almost scary.

That NYU student thing was just a joke. You in fact may be my first NYU student who has read my blog. Congradulations. Not counting my friends that already were NYU students of course...
